Eclipse Project

My Final Design
Original Concept

My Eclipse Moment
Above are the final colored design and the line art for my eclipse project. I decided to stick with some of my original ideas, but to add in some new bits as well. The elements I wanted to showcase were: the moon phases, the Chicago skyline, the Chicago flag (demonstrated with stars, but also in the use of color), the eclipse glasses, and the eclipse itself.

I used multiple reference photos, here are the links to the work I used:

Promotional Poster Design

Above is the original concept design for my promotional poster; Below is my end result. I chose this color pallet as a nod to Dadaism, an art movement I love very much. I decided to focus on the eyes and hands from my self portrait/cover design because those were my favorite features. My concept design is to make something using geometric shapes and pattern to create a visually interesting promotional poster design. Above are two designs I created back in 2014. Most of my work at that time was strictly geometric digital design. I'd like to use these as inspiration for my new poster design and incorporate some of the elements used above, while also incorporating all of the new information and skill i've developed. Below are some poster designs that I was visually drawn to.
